Dear Family & Friends, It is hard to believe that we are already in the second quarter of 2019. And it is even harder to believe that ten years ago we moved to Turkey to serve the "worker couples" residing there. As you read this newsletter, please catch the heart of what our ministry hopes to accomplish in a couple's life, with God's help. Also catch the heart of our facilitators, one of whom submitted a synopsis of the team's three weeks in Istanbul. Our team did not go to Eastern Europe this year, but I just received word from one of our team members that there are dates set for next year. I can't wait to tell you all about it next month. My sweetheart is making progress with her battle with depression. Please pray with me for full recovery. Oh, yes, Friday is her birthday. I will just say she is entering a new decade of life. She has a new phone # if any of feel inclined to call or text her Happy _0th Birthday. I hope you and your families are all well. Please stay tuned for May's newsletter. We send our love and prayers, Mark & Pat Dear Family and Friends, We survived our first summer here in Sun City, AZ, and we are now enjoying the fall weather. When I awoke this morning the temperature was 44 degrees. It is hard to believe that we are entering the holiday season, but all the stores and commercials indicate it is indeed that season. We will be going to California for Thanksgiving. It will be the first holiday we have spent there since we left for Texas 23 years ago. I hope that you all enjoy Thanksgiving with family and/or friends. We all have something that we can be thankful for. We are thankful for our family and all of our friends that have prayed for our journey over the past 9 years. We would like to continue the journey, but can not do it without your prayers and financial support. We send our love and prayers, Mark & Pat Dear Family & Friends, It is hard to believe that a year ago, we were living in Texas waiting for our home to be sold. We have survived the summer, and it will not be long before the snowbirds will return, and we will have neighbors again. We hope you enjoy this update. We send our love to those living near and far and ask you pray for our ongoing ministry. Thank You, Mark & Pat |
